CASAMIGOS x
FIRST FRIDAY

Senior Designer / Las Vegas

Casamigos, the iconic tequila brand, took over Downtown Las Vegas with a one-of-a-kind pop-up experience designed to engage patrons in an unforgettable way. As part of the First Friday art event series, the interactive activation invited guests to paint a custom "paint by numbers" mural while enjoying the vibrant energy of the city—and, of course, Casamigos cocktails.

The goal was to seamlessly blend the brand’s identity with the unique culture of Downtown Las Vegas. The mural needed to capture the essence of a Vegas sunset cruise, iconic Strip signage, and the brand’s slogan, "House of Friends," reimagined as a vintage Las Vegas sign. The goal was to design artwork that was intricate and visually captivating yet easy for participants to engage with while sipping on Casamigos.

As the creative lead, I brought the vision to life through a multi-step process:

Started with a custom hand-drawn illustration inspired by Las Vegas' neon-lit nostalgia.

Designed a vibrant, inviting palette that reflected the energy of the city and the Casamigos brand.

Structured the mural as a "paint by numbers" activity, ensuring areas were accessible for participants while maintaining a stunning final composition.

Collaborated with the Brand Representative and printers to source premium materials and execute the mural flawlessly.

A person in a white tank top and shorts is drawing on a large colorful poster with a black marker, which features outlines of abstract shapes and a yellow circle at the top.
A black-and-white line drawing of a desert scene with signs for Casamigos, house of friends, and 180V, featuring a car with a woman lounging, drinks, dice, and a motorcycle, with cacti and the sun in the background.
Children drawing on a wall with a large illustrated mural, including a sign that reads 'House of Friends'.
Color palette chart with named colors and their codes above a graphic illustration of a desert scene with cacti, drinks, dice, a car, and a sun with rays.
Person in costume with black gloves, curly wig, and sleeve pointing at a screen in a colorful, cartoon-like setting.

The mural itself became a centerpiece of the event, embodying the fun and connection Casamigos is known for. From design to execution, the project highlighted the brand’s commitment to originality and quality—proving that tequila and art make the perfect pairing.
